The Chester County Elder Abuse Task Force seeks to educate our community about recognizing elder abuse and how to report abuse.
Our Mission
The task force works to facilitate multi-agency cooperation and coordination in the investigation of crimes against the elderly and to further educate the community and increase the public awareness of the potential for abuse, neglect and exploitation of the older adult.
What We've Achieved
Designated our Executive Board, which meets monthly to further the goals of the task force
Established quarterly meetings with stakeholders in the community to educate on various topics impacting senior citizens in Chester County
Increased our online presence with the creation of a website designed to promote elder abuse awareness and educate professionals as well as the general public
Provided a number of speaking engagements within the community including law enforcement, mandatory reporters, various community and professional organizations.
